Exquisite Cube
Assignment: design and construct a cube that showcases the unique qualities of wood.
Project: By turning small pieces of the same piece of wood on their side and placing them together, created intriguing patterns. By using 4 different kinds of wood on 4 sides of the cube, we were able to showcase the varying patterns and textures of wood grain.
Two of the four end grain sides of cube show the unique patterns different woods with different cuts can produce.
